PRIVACY POLICY
LAST UPDATED · 22 JULY 2026 REDIRECTING · MISSION CONTROL
CLOSURE is a finite, verified instrument for asynchronous post-ending inquiry and response. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the limits we place on ourselves.
1 · WHAT WE COLLECT
Identity signals required for verification (Apple ID, phone number, or Instagram handle), your public Instagram profile picture URL (retrieved via the Meta Graph API if verified), the contents of loops you initiate or respond to, and minimal telemetry needed to operate the service (timestamps, session identifiers, verification outcomes).
2 · HOW WE USE IT
Solely to run the instrument: verifying that both parties are real people, routing loops between writer and reader, displaying verified public avatars for interface aesthetics, enforcing finite session boundaries, and moderating abuse. We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising against it.
3 · RETENTION
Loops are finite by design. Contents are retained only for the lifetime of the loop plus a short operational grace window, unless you consent to publish an anonymised version to the Gallery.
4 · SHARING
We share data only with the infrastructure providers required to operate CLOSURE (hosting, database, authentication, and the Instagram Graph API for handle verification). We do not share your contents with third parties for any other purpose.
5 · YOUR RIGHTS
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by writing to made@onedaynot.com. Deletion requests are honoured within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.
6 · SECURITY
Access to loop contents is scoped by invite token and row-level database policies. No system is perfectly secure; CLOSURE is offered on an at-your-own-discretion basis and is not a substitute for professional care.
